It has been an absolute pleasure to manage Word For Word over the past several years. There is no greater honor than reading and publishing the work of young writers. However, as our staff heads off to college and new literary adventures, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to permanently close submissions.

 

The website will remain live as an archive of the incredible youth writing we’ve had the privilege to share. We hope it continues to inspire and resonate with readers for years to come.
