it is wednesday and the world is ending
your crumbling edges turn to ash
scattering across barren dreams
an omen that foretells destruction- your destruction maybe or the universe's
who cares much in the end
you turn your sins inward, bruise the delicate ridges of your soul and mould it into something
harsh and jagged, unrecognisable in the evening light
when you laugh, they do not cheer. you are not worthy of applause you do not light up a room
or burn brighter than the sun
you only rot, you putrid decaying thing, you reek of mould, your wounds fester they blacken
the world burns and you along with it like a match to a flame, limbs charred and inflamed, lit
lit lit
the overwhelming stench of burning flesh it blisters it burns
when you cry they do not mourn
your misery means nothing to them
you pyre burns along with you, unattended, unmissed
you fall to the ground and do not get up.
it is wednesday. it is wednesday and the world is ending
